How to Serve Raw Paw Feast

Starting your pet on a fresh food diet can seem intimidating at first. However, it is actually quite simple! Following these guidelines will ensure the health and safety of you and your pet.

  • Ensure the food is completely thawed prior to serving. Raw food should always be thawed under refrigeration -- do not thaw at room temperature.

  • Raw Paw Feast pet food should never be microwaved. Microwaving destroys the essential nutrients that are present in raw food, and can be harmful to your pet's long-term health. If your pet prefers their food at room temperature, add 1 teaspoon of warm (not hot) water to their food.

  • We recommend feeding your pet 2-3% of their body weight daily. The amount of food to feed depends on your pet's weight and your overall goals for your pet (lose, maintain, or gain weight). Need help figuring out exactly how much to feed? Check out our handy feeding calculator!

  • To simplify the handling and feeding of Raw Paw Feast, we recommend staging a few containers of a day's worth of food in your freezer. As you use the thawed food in your refrigerator, simply take a portioned frozen container and thaw in the refrigerator for your pet's next meal. Easy peasy!
